Top 5 tips: 2. Breathe. Every single time I feel stressed I catch myself not breathing properly. I stop. I take a minute. and I breathe. This “simple” act is one of the hardest there is to master. 3. Find joy in every day. Even if it’s only for a moment, that first sip of coffee, a laugh with a friend, noticing the sunshine. Anything. 4. Say sayonara to suffering. When you fall into the complaints, negative mindset, bad moods, remind yourself, I am choosing to feel this way. I can look at this another way. Even when things are at their worst, we have the ability to feel pain, anger, hurt without feeling the suffering of it. Can’t wait to share more of this with you. 5. Community. Build community, friends, family, share. Isolation is 100% linked to depression and anxiety. This doesn’t mean you have to be social all the time. It means that having connections is grounding, needed for well being and rewarding. |
